Frequently asked

Can my whole band use it, or just me?

The whole band. One subscription per band — you invite your bandmates by email, they sign in for free. The admin (the person who paid) is the only one billed.

If you're a solo artist or DJ, the Solo MD tier is for you. If you're in two bands, each band has its own subscription.

What happens at the end of the trial?

Your card gets charged automatically on day 31 for your first billing period (£4/£8 monthly, or £40/£80 annually). Stripe emails you a receipt and a reminder a few days before the trial ends.

If you decide it's not for you, cancel any time during the trial via Account → Manage subscription. No charge if you cancel before day 31.

Does it work offline on stage?

Yes — tonight's setlist and any chord charts are cached on your device the moment you load the Gig section. Even on a venue with patchy signal, the Stage view keeps working.

The first time you open the app at a new venue, give the Setup tab a few seconds to cache. After that you're good for the night.

What devices does it work on?

Anything with a modern browser. We're web-first, installable as a Progressive Web App on iOS, Android, and desktop — so once you've signed in once, you can add it to your home screen and it behaves like a native app.

On iPhone: open in Safari, tap Share, then "Add to Home Screen". On Android: open in Chrome, three-dot menu, "Install app". On desktop: there's usually an install icon in the address bar.

Can I import my existing setlists from Bandhelper?

Yes — Get Set Gig reads Bandhelper's JSON export. Sign in to Bandhelper on a desktop, export your songs/setlists, then on Get Set Gig go to SET → Songs → Import and drop the JSON file in.

If you have a different setup (Setlist Maker, OnSong, a spreadsheet) and want help getting it in, email Rob and we'll figure it out.

What about my privacy?

Your band's data lives in the UK (Supabase London region). We don't sell anything to advertisers. You can export everything, or delete your account, any time from Account → Your data.

Get Set Gig Ltd is registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ZC160073). Full privacy notice here.

How do I cancel?

Account → Manage subscription. That opens Stripe's customer portal where you can cancel, change your card, or download past invoices.

Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep access until the renewal date you've already paid for, then the app switches to read-only.

How do I get a dep to use it for one gig?

Invite them as a guest dep — same as inviting a permanent member, but pick "Dep" instead of "Member" as the role. They get the same access for the gig in question, no extra cost to you, no commitment for them.

If you do this a lot, the dep-share referral link on your Account → Suggest Get Set Gig to a band page is worth knowing about.

Still stuck?

Get Set Gig is built by one person. Email Rob, or use the in-app feedback form — both go to the same inbox, and we read every one.
