01 · GET

Run the band, not the chaos.

Band members, deps, venues, promoters, contacts, and the band's diary — all on one canvas. Who's confirmed, who's bringing the PA, who you are chasing for gigs.

  • Live diary — gigs and rehearsals on one calendar, with availability ticked per member.
  • Brand assets shared with the band — the promoter asks for the logo, anyone in the band can send it.
  • Deps as proper contacts. Track who covers what, with notes and history.
  • People log — every conversation with an agent, venue, or promoter, with date and context.

02 · SET

Your repertoire ready to play.

Every song the band knows, every setlist you've ever played, every practice plan.

  • Songs library with key, BPM, duration, last played, retired filter.
  • Drag-drop setlist editor with named sections — First set, Second set, Encore.
  • Per-song practice status — Learning, Rusty, Polishing, Solid. Private to you.
  • Rehearsal calendar with per-song focus notes — "work on the ending", "BVs".
  • Switch from other apps in minutes - import your songs directly. Spotify auto-fill — coming soon.

03 · GIG

At 19:00 the app stops trying to be useful.

No nav bars. No notifications. When the app knows you've got a gig tonight, it changes shape. Big lyrics, a transpose pill, a metronome that pulses to the song's tempo, and a cue you can hit by feel.

  • 72ptTouch targets sized for sweaty fingers in low light.
  • 0msCharts pre-cached. Zero network round-trips at downbeat.
  • ±12Transpose by semitone — saved to the band's setlist so everyone gets the right key.
  • Visual + audio metronome at the song's BPM. Tap to silence.
  • Post-gig recap — thumbs / skip per song, fuels rehearsal suggestions.

What it isn't

We threw out everything you've put up with for ten years.

01 Three apps, a spreadsheet, a WhatsApp group One band, one app.
02 "Can someone send me the logo?" Brand assets shared with the band, one tap to copy a link.
03 UI that hasn't moved on since 2012 Modern, calm, mobile-first.
04 "What key are we doing this in?" Transpose once, it sticks to the band's setlist.
From the founder

I'm a working function-band MD. I got tired of three apps, a spreadsheet, a WhatsApp group, and a paper diary for one band's life. So I'm building the one I wanted instead.

Pricing

One price, per band. No per-seat games.

You're the MD. You shouldn't be doing maths on member counts in your dressing room.

Questions

The ones you'd ask at soundcheck.

Closed beta now, with a small group of working musicians dogfooding the app on real gigs. Public launch follows when we're sure it can carry a Saturday night without flinching. Sign up for the waitlist — one email when paying customers can join, nothing else.

Yes — installable as a PWA. On gig day, every chart, lyric, key, and BPM is cached on your device before you press play. You can run the whole set in a basement with no signal.

Bandhelper JSON import is shipped — songs, setlists, the lot, brought over in one go. PDF, ChordPro, and plain-text chart import follow shortly. Each chart is your file; we display it, we don't try to be clever about it.

v1.5+ feature, deliberately deferred. We're focused on the organisation layer first — a young app shouldn't be the single point of failure during your set. When live sync arrives, it'll be reliable or it won't ship.

Not in v1.0. Backing-track playback, click, MIDI program changes — these all carry real liability if the app misfires mid-song, so they're deferred. Keep using what you trust on stage; use Get Set Gig for everything that comes before and after.
