Terms
The agreement between you and Get Set Gig Ltd.
Last updated: 9 June 2026
The service
Get Set Gig is a web-based application for working musicians — solo artists, bands, and DJs — to organise their gigs, repertoire, rehearsals, and on-stage flow. During closed beta the service is provided free of charge, “as is”, on the conditions set out below. Subscription pricing applies after public launch; we’ll give existing users notice before any subscription takes effect.
Who’s providing it
Get Set Gig Ltd, a UK company (registration number 17248614, registered office 45 Crossway, Welwyn Garden City, Herts. AL8 7ED), referred to throughout as “we” / “us” / “Get Set Gig”. You can reach us at rob.wilson@getsetgig.com.
Who can use the service
You must be 18 or over to create an account. The service is intended for people who organise music gigs (band members, solo artists, DJs, and people who help bands with bookings and logistics).
Your account
You’re responsible for keeping the email account associated with your magic-link or OAuth (Google / Microsoft) sign-in secure. Don’t share access with people who shouldn’t have it. If you think someone else has got into your Get Set Gig account, email rob.wilson@getsetgig.com right away and we’ll help you secure it.
Multiple people from one band each create their own accounts and join the band by invitation. We don’t allow shared accounts.
Acceptable use
Use the service for your own gigging life and your band’s. You agree not to:
- Use the service to spam, harass, or send unsolicited marketing to anyone — including the contacts you enter.
- Upload content that’s illegal, infringes someone else’s rights (including copyright), or that you don’t have permission to upload.
- Try to break, probe, or reverse-engineer the service, or interfere with anyone else’s use of it.
- Resell the service or pass it off as your own.
- Use the service to process special-category personal data (health, biometric, etc.) — the service is not designed for it.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules. Where the breach is serious we may do so without notice. Where it’s minor we’ll usually get in touch first.
Your content, your ownership
Songs, setlists, charts, contacts, brand assets and any other material you upload to Get Set Gig remain yours. You grant us only the licence we need to host, display, back up, transmit, and process that material so the service works for you and your band members. That licence ends when you delete the content or close your account.
You confirm that you have the right to upload everything you upload (eg. you wrote the chart, or you have permission from the rights-holder), and that your use of the service won’t infringe anyone else’s rights.
Our intellectual property
The Get Set Gig name, wordmark, design, and the software that runs the service are owned by Get Set Gig Ltd. You don’t get any rights to those by using the service; we’re just letting you use the service while these terms apply.
Subscriptions and payment
Subscriptions launch after the beta period. When they do:
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe, our payment processor. We don’t store your card details.
- Prices include UK VAT where applicable. Where prices change, your renewal price for an existing subscription stays as it was for the rest of the current term; the new price applies from the next renewal.
- A free trial may be offered. If it is, you can cancel before the trial ends without being charged.
- If your payment fails we’ll retry a few times then suspend the service while we wait to hear from you. We don’t delete your data during a payment-failure suspension.
Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel any time via the Account page. Cancellation stops future renewals; the current paid period continues to the end and you keep access until then. We don’t refund part-period payments except where UK law requires us to (eg. the Consumer Contracts Regulations 14-day cooling-off right, when applicable).
Closing your account
You can close your account at any time on the Your data page in the app. We’ll delete your personal data per the privacy notice. Note that some band-level content (songs, setlists, gigs) belongs to the band as a unit — if you’re the only admin of a band, we’ll either promote another member to admin or delete the whole band, depending on whether there are other members; you’ll see exactly what will happen before you confirm.
Service availability
We aim to keep the service up and working but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted availability. We use professional infrastructure (Supabase, Vercel) to minimise downtime. We may take the service offline briefly for maintenance and security updates and will try to give notice when we can. There’s no service-level agreement during closed beta.
Liability
We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. Get Set Gig is a tool to help you organise — it is not a substitute for your own preparation, your bandmates’ reliability, or your judgement on stage. We don’t guarantee that the service will always be available, error-free, or fit any particular purpose beyond the use it’s intended for.
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law:
- Our total liability for any loss arising out of your use of the service in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you’ve paid us during those 12 months. During free beta this is £0; the limit becomes meaningful when subscriptions go live.
- We’re not liable for indirect, special, or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, business, anticipated savings, or goodwill.
- We’re not liable for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control (eg. outages at our hosting providers, internet failure, governmental action).
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Indemnity
You agree to reimburse us for any claim brought against us by a third party that arises from your breach of these terms, your violation of someone’s rights, or your unlawful use of the service — limited to the actual loss we incur and to a reasonable amount.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the notice period means you accept the updated terms. If you don’t want to accept the changes, you can close your account at any time.
If a part of these terms doesn’t hold
If any clause of these terms is found by a court to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest of the terms stay in force.
The whole agreement
These terms, together with the privacy notice and cookie notice, are the whole agreement between you and us about the service. They replace any previous agreement or understanding we may have had.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. Consumers in Scotland and Northern Ireland may also bring proceedings in their local courts where the law allows.
